RAINIER VALLEY SLAMMERS COMPETED AT THE 2ND ANNUAL RVS SUMMER CLASSIC. According to reporter and AYSA Recreation Program Director Chris Vance, Rainier Valley Slammers did very well at the recently completed RVS Summer Classic!
Chris reported overall the club had 37 wins 27 losses and 5 ties.
Against the highly competitive RCL teams the club recorded 11 wins 12 losses and 1 tie
RVS won 4 age groups, finished second in 3 groups and made it to the semi-finals in another group.
Even our teams that didn’t advance were highly competitive. For example, the U15 boys and U17 girls lost very close and competitive games to RCL teams.
Starfire was packed. There was Orange everywhere, the weather was great and our teams did fantastic!
